Sustainable Overton is inviting the local community to join in a festive celebration of the harvest at the Overton Community Orchard on Overton Hill.
On Sunday 7th September from 2pm-4pm, visitors are welcome to explore the orchard, discover what’s growing, and even pick fruit to take home. Those interested in a hands-on experience can get involved in the apple pressing process and sample fresh juice made from orchard fruit.
Organisers say the event is a perfect opportunity for families, friends, and neighbours to enjoy the seasonal bounty, connect with nature, and celebrate the hard work that goes into maintaining the orchard.
No need to bring anything except enthusiasm—Sustainable Overton will provide everything needed to enjoy the afternoon.
